Mike Ballard is also the founder of Camino Verde Group and is the firm’s CEO. Used in Las Vegas, the firm has properties in seven states. Mike has 30 years of experience in all facets of real estate operations, including entitlement, acquisitions, development, marketing, renovation, dispositions, property management and finance. Mike has been involved in the development and/or renovation of multifamily, retail and office properties as well as data centers.

Mike was a founding member of the board of the Lied Institute for Real Estate Studies at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, also helped with the formation of the local National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and Construction Financial Management Association chapters. He also is the past president of the Las Vegas Rotary Club, the oldest and largest service club in Southern Nevada.

Mike has helped start two banks and served on the board of Black Mountain Community Bank. Early in Mike’s career, he worked for Laventhol & Horwath, CPAs and later joined RSM McGladrey & Pullen before starting his own consulting firm.

Pam Heiney is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer at Ascent Multifamily Accounting, bringing more than three decades of experience in property management accounting and operational leadership. Since beginning her career in 1991, Pam has built an extensive background in multifamily accounting, financial reporting, and team development.

At Ascent, Pam oversees all accounting operations and directly supervises the firm’s accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellence across every client portfolio. She has managed accounting services for hundreds of apartment communities nationwide, ranging from small owner-operators to large multifamily portfolios.

Known for her meticulous attention to detail and steady leadership, Pam plays a key role in developing Ascent’s systems and processes that empower clients to scale their management operations with confidence. Her commitment to service, integrity, and continuous improvement has been central to Ascent’s growth and reputation as a trusted partner in the multifamily industry.

As a Partner at Ascent Multifamily Accounting, Amy Williams oversees human resources services supporting more than 700 employees across 18 states. She has designed and implemented a wide range of benefits and incentive programs that give Ascent’s clients access to the same level of HR support and employee offerings typically reserved for large national organizations.

Amy’s career in property management began in 1994 as a leasing agent in Las Vegas. Over the past 31 years, she has built extensive experience across all facets of the industry—from on-site operations to corporate leadership. Her dedication, hands-on management style, and deep understanding of the multifamily workforce have been instrumental in Ascent’s ability to deliver scalable, people-focused HR solutions

With more than 18 years of experience in multifamily accounting, Yenci Santiago brings deep expertise in financial management, process improvement, and team leadership to her role as Controller at Ascent Multifamily Accounting.

Before joining Ascent, Yenci spent over 15 years as an Accounting Manager at a large national property management firm overseeing the accounting operations for a portfolio of nearly 70 properties. Her extensive background in property-level accounting, financial reporting, and team supervision has given her a comprehensive understanding of the multifamily industry’s unique financial challenges.

Since joining Ascent three years ago, Yenci has become an integral part of the leadership team, overseeing accounting operations and training new staff to ensure consistency, accuracy, and excellence across all client portfolios. She is known for her hands-on approach, commitment to mentoring others, and passion for helping both clients and team members succeed.
